Spinal decompression therapy, also known as non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, is a painless, conservative, and effective way to treat back and neck pain, sciatica, stenosis, and degenerative disc disease. It involves a slow controlled stretching of the spine, using a computer aided traction table. This slow gentle stretching creates negative pressure within the discs of the spine creating a vacuum that helps pull the discs material back into place, thus taking pressure off of pinched nerves.
