Trigger point injections
Trigger points are found in tight bands of muscles that can feel like a knot or be tight and painful. Many patients report feeling restricted in their movements and feeling weakness in the muscle due to trigger points. Our office uses a local anesthetic to inject the trigger point allowing blood to flow to the muscle. The muscle will be allowed nutrients and oxygen, which it has been lacking due to the trigger point blocking these vital components.
Spinal decompression therapy is a painless, conservative, and effective way to treat back and neck pain, sciatica, stenosis, and degenerative disc disease. It involves a slow controlled stretching of the spine, using a computer aided traction table. This slow gentle stretching creates negative pressure within the discs of the spine creating a vacuum that helps pull the discs material back into place, thus taking pressure off of pinched nerves.
